But they work remarkably well on a touch interface.Īre any of the above as feature rich as Blender? Probably not, if you consider the “non modelling” aspects of Blender (ie UV, Animation, Compositing etc). Obviously these are geared towards tablets rather than phones, for the obvious screen real estate issues. What I have seen, is that the interface is reworked to be completely touch-centric (interesting to compare Formit for Desktop & Formit for Web And Androind/iOS). Yes these are commercial software, but the point is not FOSS vs Paid, but rather 3d on mobile. However having been playing with an iPad pro for the last few months, I have stumbled upon Shaper3d, uMake, OnShape and even Autodesk Formit as 3D modelling tools for iPad (and I am ignoring the sculpting tools). And a while ago I would have probably concurred that this is a pipe dream. It has been a long time since I did any coding, although I do appreciate the complexity of what is being asked. This is the simplest & most practical solution of getting a customizable & mod-able on Android / Harmony OS. The physics & controls would be builtin (with option to customize key parameters). You would use Shape Keys (ie morph targets) to customize the characters. These assets include environment (eg landscape, trees, plants & flowers, rocks), vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycle, boats, planes), animals (insects, mammals, birds, fish, etc) & characters (humanoid, mechas, monsters, etc), and buildings (incl components such as walls, windows, doors, roofs, tiles, floors, furniture, appliances, etc). The easist & most practical solution is have pre-made assets embed within the Godot Editor (or as module for Godot Game). I’m a developer on several platforms (GNU, Windows, Mobile, Web), utilizing various input methods (keyboard, mouse, touch), in various form factors (desktop, laptop, tablet, phone) with various CPU (AMD, Intel, ARM) & GPU (AMD, Nvidia, Intel, ARM) over varying power. There is 2 main benefits of phones / tablets = (1) small & portable, (2) longer battery life. There are some things not easily done with Touch screen & small form factor. I’m thinking about incorporating it into both the Godot Editor & as a re-usable module(s) for Game / App Projects. I has been a dream of mine, to create a self-sufficient ecosystem (using Godot) - where I can customize environment &/or characters using materials & shape keys (ie morph targets). I’ve thought of how I would implement Modeling & Sculpting thru GODOT.īut an easier solution is to build component pre-fabs (ie mesh + collision shape + gdscript for added functionality). Also, mouse has 3 buttons (plus scroll wheel). Even on a Tablet, there is problem of keyboard & mouse input.įurthermore, blender is heavily dependent on KB & Mouse. I suspect a problem with video drivers (since 2.63a uses OpenGL 1.4).Īnother problem is phones have small screens. First, there was a port of 2.63a - This worked for an older phone I had, but it would not work for newer ones. However, a watermark is added to the final output and requires a separate purchase to remove, which can be costly and not suitable for those on a budget.Very interesting. The app also includes a video converter, slideshow maker, and professional photo editor with various filters, layouts, ratios, and stickers. Great app, but leaves a watermarkĬamtasia offers a comprehensive suite of video editing tools, video merging, music extraction, voice recording, movie-style filters, and more. However, the app leaves a watermark on your final output and can only be removed if you make a separate purchase, which is a little costly. You can also freeze your selected moments from the video.Īdditionally, the app includes a video converter to MP4 format, a photo slideshow maker, a photo and video mixer with custom covers and backgrounds, and a professional photo editor with various filters, layouts, ratios, and stickers. Using video filters and effects, you can control the video speed, creating timelapse and slow-motion videos with a range from 0.2x to 100x. Customizability also goes as far as adding text to videos with many font options, stickers, and animation effects. You can also adjust the video's brightness, contrast, and saturation or customize your own filters and effects. You can also enjoy movie-style video filters and effects, such as glitches, stop motion, old TV, and RGB. As mentioned, you can merge multiple video clips into one and compress them without any loss of quality, as well as extract music from videos or add your personal voice recording from your device folders. With Camtasia, everything you need to produce a high-quality video is within your reach.
